| THE SAN FRANCISCO
- CATALINA ISLAND SEAPLANE PROJECT
In 1997, Aeronautica 3D began looking at the feasibility of
a unique personal transportation project that would allow
low level over-the-water flight transportation from San Francisco
to Catalina Island off the Southern California coast. During
these last 10 years, the vehicle design has taken on many
forms. From circular saucer to more conventional style layouts.
Aeronautica 3D is now into its first prototype build design
of one of several of its conventional concepts.
CATIA software will be used for design and layout. As the
plane progresses, pictures will be posted into the gallery
section.
