3D Laser Scanning

Aeronautica 3D was providing 3D scanning services and conducting scanning projects with the Leica HDS3000 laser scanner. A scanner was purchased in late 2005 and sold in mid 2007. One of Aeronautica 3D's assets is the Rapidform XOR software used to manipulate the pointcloud data and create CAD data from the pointcloud. Aeronautica 3D offers this software for rent and service. Aeronautica 3D is in the process of searching for good scanner rental rates, purchasing lower cost scanners, and developing its own fast scanning devices.
